Innpulse Consulting provides consulting services, helping clients
to strengthen their innovation capabilities.
Our consulting firm operates according to the ‘Innovation Penta Helix Model’, making innovation, entrepreneurship, and growth happen with and within industry, startups, investors, public administration and academic institutions. Our consulting, coaching, mentoring, and training services follow a human-centered systems thinking approach, delivering value for both our clients and their ecosystem. Business and growth challenges go hand in hand with ambitions that go beyond, such as connecting with the circular economy, transforming towards a sustainable company, and thriving social innovation, bringing our clients’ competitiveness to a next level.
One of our star projects we won this year is a two-year contract with EIT Manufacturing, leading the Entrepreneurship Program for scientists and researchers in the European Ecosystem of Smart Manufacturing, creating entrepreneurial mindset among the engineers and helping them to monetize their research findings. The two-year entrepreneurship program encompasses the full cycle of design, development, validation, and implementation of the business concept, working onsite with polytechnic universities and their doctoral schools in cities such as Paris, Grenoble, Porto, Mondragón, Bratislava, Prague, and Tartu.
WHO ARE WE?
Started his passion for innovation and entrepreneurship in the Netherlands, where he pioneered and lead one of the first open innovation ecosystems for over five years, funded by national government, the EU, and the regional investment bank.
After ten years working for the technology multinational Indra in Madrid, where he became an expert in corporate venturing and intrapreneurship, he started his own innovation boutique consulting.
Besides, he is Director of the Incubation Program at EAE Business School, Program Leader of the Master of Design & Innovation at Instituto Europeo di Design in Madrid, and tutor at the Smart Cities and Urban Design Executive Education program at MIT Media Lab in Boston. He loves sharing his knowledge and experience at various business schools and universities as an associate professor on business design and innovation. And besides, as a mentor, expert, speaker, and panelist at several incubators and accelerators, such IE Startup Lab, La Nave, Zakut Innovation Hub, and CEEI Orbita.
Sara is a Senior Strategic & Research Designer, with background in Industrial Design. Passionate about Social Entrepreneurship and innovation, she combines consultancy projects with academics.
She has over 8 years of experience working in innovation consultancies such as Innpulse Consulting, Opinno, and bigD Design That Matters. As a member of Paco Design Collaborative, she also participated in a Horizon 2020 project located in South Africa and Namibia dedicated to the development of the youth of bushmen through Participatory Design (PARTY).
Prior to her consultancy career, she completed an Engineering Degree in Industrial Design and Product Development at Navarra University. During this time, she conducted five internships in China and Spain, where Sara gained experience in different areas of design, including design studios, companies, and entrepreneurship. She also had two long-term international experiences: first in Helsinki, where she did her Erasmus Exchange at Aalto University, and later in China, where she completed her Bachelor’s Thesis. An expert in the broad world of innovation methodologies, her committed to «changing the world through small actions» guides every personal and professional step she takes.
